A full-page ad for MGA’s aviation program that ran in a 2023 issue of JAMES magazine.
I’m not sure what the circumstances were, but our office was given less than 48 hours to come up with an ad for the School of Aviation. The logo and smaller text content was given to me to include, but the phrase “The Sky’s the Limit” and the overall concept was mine. I started with the large text as the focal point and knew I wanted to use it as a mask for a punchy image of a sky. I found that great stock photo via Adobe Stock that already used purple hues very close to MGA’s brand colors and plopped it into the text. Then I added the plane’s silhouette and cut the contrail out of the text at a steep diagonal to create some interest and excitement.
